Anti-Wrinkle Injections · Subject to consultation

Forehead lines and wrinkles

Forehead anti-wrinkle treatment may be considered when horizontal movement lines remain visible or bother you. Assessment looks at brow position, muscle strength, existing asymmetry and how much expression you want to preserve.

Understanding the concern

Movement comes before dose or placement.

Read more about Forehead lines and wrinkles Treatment details and clinical context

Forehead lines are influenced by the frontalis muscle, brow position, skin quality and the way neighbouring muscles work. A consultation therefore considers the full upper face rather than treating a line in isolation.

Anti-wrinkle injections use a prescription-only medicine. If clinically suitable, the proposed pattern is individualised to soften selected movement while respecting your anatomy and preferred amount of expression.

Possible effects and risks—including temporary redness, swelling, bruising, headache, asymmetry, brow heaviness and eyelid or brow droop—are discussed before consent. No particular result can be guaranteed.

A doctor consultation may recommend another assessment, an alternative approach or no treatment.
What to expect

From your concern to an informed decision

Treatment is subject to consultation and an individual plan.

01 · Choose an area Tell us what you want to discuss

Choose the concern or area, review the factual price information and book a doctor consultation. Selecting an area does not confirm a procedure.

02 · Consultation Assess suitability and alternatives

The doctor reviews your history, the relevant anatomy and your goals. Discuss risks, expected limits, alternatives and total cost before deciding.

03 · Agreed plan Know the preparation and aftercare

If treatment is appropriate, you receive information for the specific procedure and review arrangements. Another approach or no treatment may be recommended.

The details behind your treatment choice

Explore the concern, the assessment and the questions to discuss before deciding.

Dynamic lines

Forehead lines are first assessed while you raise and relax your brows. The clinician looks at frontalis strength, symmetry, brow height and whether one side recruits more strongly than the other. This helps distinguish movement-led lines from texture or established creases, which may need skincare, resurfacing or a different plan. Treatment is never based on the line alone.

Lines at rest

Lines that remain when the face is relaxed may reflect repeated movement, collagen change, sun exposure or skin quality. Anti-wrinkle treatment reduces selected muscle activity; it does not resurface skin or guarantee that an established crease disappears. Your clinician will explain which part appears movement-led and whether a combined or alternative approach is more appropriate.

Brow balance

The frontalis elevates the brows and works in balance with the frown muscles. A plan that ignores brow position, eyelid hooding or baseline asymmetry may create heaviness or an unwanted change in brow shape. The upper face is therefore assessed as one functional unit before any dose or placement is proposed.

Natural expression

Some patients want visible movement retained; others prefer greater softening. The consultation agrees the aim, explains that individual response varies and sets a conservative plan around your anatomy. No particular result can be guaranteed, and further treatment is not considered until the initial effect can be judged safely.

Area selection, prices and your next step

Use the areas and prices panel to find the concern you want assessed. Prices are subject to consultation, and the selected area is carried into a doctor consultation request.

The final treatment plan, risks and total charge are discussed before treatment. A £50 doctor consultation reservation fee applies; current terms are shown before booking.

Questions before booking

Frequently asked questions.

Practical answers before choosing a consultation.

What causes forehead lines?
Repeated brow movement, skin ageing, sun exposure and individual anatomy can all contribute. Lines may first appear with expression and later remain visible at rest.
Will my forehead look frozen?
The amount of movement to preserve is part of the consultation. Result and movement vary, and treatment should be planned for the individual rather than applied as one fixed pattern.
When do effects develop?
Effects usually develop gradually rather than immediately. Your clinician will explain the expected onset and when a review would be appropriate.
How long can effects last?
Duration varies with dose, muscle activity, metabolism and treatment history. Your clinician will discuss a realistic maintenance interval for you.
Is everyone suitable?
No. Medical history, medicines, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, neuromuscular conditions, infection and other factors must be reviewed before treatment.
What happens after treatment?
You receive individual aftercare and warning signs. Temporary injection-site redness, swelling, tenderness or bruising can occur.
What is the doctor consultation reservation fee?
A £50 reservation fee applies to the doctor consultation. Current payment, cancellation and rescheduling terms are shown in the booking app before you confirm.
Do I need to choose a procedure before consultation?
No. Select the area or concern you want to discuss. The doctor assesses suitability and explains options, risks and alternatives before you decide; the consultation may end with no procedure.
Where can I see the prices for my area?
Open the areas and prices panel from this page. Doctor prices are shown first and all treatment prices are subject to consultation. The final plan and charge must be confirmed before treatment.
What should I tell the doctor before treatment?
Explain your goals, relevant medical history, medicines and previous procedures. The clinician checks treatment-specific suitability and discusses realistic limits, material risks and alternatives.
What aftercare and review will I receive?
If a procedure is agreed, the clinic supplies preparation, aftercare, warning signs, contact guidance and review arrangements for that specific plan. Timing and response vary between patients.
